Unfriendly Waters
How sad does one have to be submerged in their own life
Not even the swelling of your head can keep your own weight afloat
Egos keeping you down as they turn and smile
By show of hands who’s unimpressed
A sea of arms are waving and only calms as they wear out
Accepted through fatigue
Your treading now no storm in sight
Be careful cause Nagas run heavy through these parts
Here’s my hand, take it before it grips your throat to
hold you down
Tides need changing and gravity won’t help, scrye the waters
Months pass adding to a year, your name has left
our mind
Crew senses change winds shift again, your colors fly
You scream to reconcile to a clan left to scorn
Sure mate, come aboard and see how I forgive
Run through by swords, Battered by fists
No room for mutiny and overboard you go
Say your goodbyes through silence
And drift away into the sun
One day my disgust for you may come to pass but don’t hold your breath
Accept the floggings you’ve marooned yourself so never return cause
I’ll smash every tooth that fits every mouth that’s ever smiled at me
Ill smash them all
(Go Back)
